In addition to the races for the elite, the Citadel of Namur also played host to races for juniors and U17 riders.
The juniors navigated the exact same course as used by the pros, with Italian Mattia Agostinacchio beating Austrian Valentin Hofer by just a few seconds and Lennes Jacobs by almost a minute.
For the first time this year, the event in Namur also organised a race for U17 youngsters on a shorter course (no cobbles or hills) and without World Cup status.
In the girls’ race Belgian Laurine Demeulemeester took the win after 10km with a 1’42 lead over her compatriot Itta De Gendt, followed by Lucie Dispa.
The podium of the boys’ race was international, with Dutchman Delano Heeren taking a 14-second win over Slovakian Mila Husenica and Belgian Bas Vanden Eynde.
